Editor\u2019s note: I\u2019m opening the review section with my first review, written more than a year ago \u2014 and a lot has changed since then. NUK Medic Pro L<\/a> has since been discontinued, and you can no longer find it anywhere but our shop. So the claim that it is the most readily available and cheapest adult pacifier is no longer true.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We begin with a classic from our neighbours in Germany. This is a larger latex pacifier made by NUK, the well-known manufacturer of baby products. It was developed for therapeutic use by older children, teenagers and adults.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was produced in two sizes: \u201cS\u201d for school-age children and \u201cL\u201d for adults. Among adult pacifiers, this model could rightly claim several firsts. In the Czech Republic it used to be by far the easiest to find and the cheapest. It is also the smallest of all adult pacifiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It comes exclusively with a milky-white shield and an anatomically shaped, \u201cflat\u201d teat. The latex is about as thick as on ordinary baby pacifiers. The NUK Medic Pro teat is soft and adapts easily to the mouth. Once released, it gently returns to its original shape and fills with air. The shield is slightly larger than that of the largest baby pacifier (size 3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You may also see it called \u201cNUK 5\u201d, \u201cTeat Trainer\u201d or \u201cSaugtrainer\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is the only adult pacifier made by a well-known company that also produces quality baby pacifiers. That alone inspires confidence in its build quality and safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NUK Medic Pro L is an ideal first choice for anyone intrigued by the world of adult pacifiers \u2014 whether out of simple curiosity, the joy of rediscovering something forgotten, or as an inexpensive and practical aid with falling asleep, snoring, nervousness, anxiety or teeth grinding.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The title calls NUK Medic Pro the \u201cgold standard\u201d. We will use it that way in later reviews too: as the benchmark for comparing other pacifiers, including their size and build quality.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
